When we were in Guatemala picking up Ella we went to an orphanage. A wonderful Christian woman is starting up a special needs orphanage for 12 children. The orphanage is called God Bless the Children. The vision for the orphanage is for it to be like a home for the children, not just a place to sleep and eat. The lady's children are all adoptable and will hopefully be adopted so more children can come. The orphanage is starting up in about a month, or less. There are no funds, the amazing Christian woman is paying for all of the needs from her pocket and a little coffee shop that she started to help with the funds.
This will be a HUGE blessing for the children and for Cinthya, the "mother" of the children. She truly has a heart for these children and special needs children in Guatemala do not get proper treatment. This fundraiser will provide funds for food, basic house needs, doctors, physical trainers and toys.
Now for the fundraising part........
